Our Navigation Course will run on Dartmoor. (or other location) offers the perfect environment to learn all the basics in a fun friendly environment, and become a competent navigator.

During the course we will cover the following aspects:

Map scale

symbols & contours

Basic use of a compass

Planning the a route

Skills for poor visibility navigation

Relocating yourself should it all go wrong. Using GPS

Orientation of a map

Team drills and skills

Lost drills



The course will be run by military & ex military Land Navigation SMEs.
